Harry Gold

I am very pleased to include the creative sculpture of New York artist, Harry Gold. In Harry's words...."My work has always involved an exploration of balance/imbalance and human relationship to Earth. Various environments I have lived in; Iowa, Maine, Australia, New Mexico and now New York City. These geographic locations are constantly revisited and sampled as backdrops to the scenarios I arrange." OK that is heavy and I hope you will see what I discovered in his work....creative, arresting images, well sculpted and surface rich patinas.

Alan Larkin

I am thrilled to add Alan Larkin to our talented artists at EYE ON ART Gallery. Alan is a very creative and well accomplished artist working in pastel and oil. This is a painting from his new series, "Small World," titled Small World with Ribbon Box.

He has been teaching drawing and printmaking for the last 31 years at Indiana University South Bend. He has won numerous prizes in regional and national competitions for his artwork including the Great Lakes Pastel Society Award at the 29th Annual Exhibition of the Pastel Society of America in 1999 and the Best of Show award at the 75th Annual Hoosier Salon Exhibit in Indianapolis.

New Chapter/New Gallery

It is with mixed feelings that I will be leaving the Stutz studio/gallery after six years of painting and working with the Stutz Artists Association. It was a pleasure to work with the staff and the many artists I came in contact with. My next passage and chapter in my life will be the opening of a gallery/studio in the Carmel Arts District. I will be featuring my work as well as other artists that I have long admired. The 1,650 sq ft will give me adequate studio space as well as area to teach classes and workshops. I will miss that great morning light I enjoyed in my Stutz studio for sure. The gallery will be called "Eye On Art" and will open in September. The grand opening is planned for October or November and I hope to see many of you there.
